It’s not easy to stand out in today’s pool of 80’s rocker wannabes, but for the seven glam bandits who make up Hairbanger’s Ball, the Chicago-spun tribute band taking the country by storm, distinction is as effortless as late-night debauchery.
Back in 2001, what started out as a “what if” plan to bring six extremely talented musicians together to revive “The Decade of Decadence” quickly turned into one of the most successful live music acts touring the United States. Today, Hairbanger’s Ball is a seven piece band that is louder, prouder and more exciting then ever. The group has sold out several venues and festivals over the past 10 years and played to crowds ranging in size from 500 to 10,000 people. Hairbanger’s Ball has also traveled to other countries to perform concerts for the U.S. Air-force and U.S. Navy.
Living up to it’s name, Hairbanger’s Ball delivers uncanny live renditions of legendary 80’s hair rock bands like Poison, Def Leppard, Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crue, Van Halen and Bon Jovi, just to name a few. Between band mates Sakk Wylde (Lead Vocals), Polly Pantz (Keys/ Vocals), Jeff Jackson (Guitar), Sean Jovi (Bass Guitar), Clare Crush (Keys/Vocals), Bobby Bones (Guitar) and The Kid (Drums), the vocals are dead-on, the riffs are tight and just right and no props are spared.
Hairbanger’s Ball is an ageless act that has a unique knack to work with their audiences, integrating them into their performances for the most memorable shows. Whether it’s a hip club, college bar or a large venue hosting thousands on special occasions, the group tailors every performance for a truly unforgettable night.
The booze flows, the light show is awesome and the confetti flies. The make-up is heavy, the hair is big, the tattoos intrusive and the tight spandex invites rabid fans into a jungle of over-the-top monster rock. Don’t let the “party band” persona fool you. A: Yes, HBB travels all over the country to perform at clubs, festivals, special events, and private functions. Air travel and accomodations may apply if travel is more than 7 hours from Chicago, IL.

A: We may provide out own staging, sound, and lighting, for an additional fee if the venue does not provide.
